Strawberry Syrup
Strawberry syrup needed for Summer's Strawberry Lemonade
Prep Time 20 minutes minutes
- 1 cup Sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup Turbinado sugar
- 1/4 cup Water
For the strawberry syrup, combine sliced strawberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan.
Heat over low heat, stirring often.
As the strawberries soften, use a spoon to smash the berries extracting the sugar and juice.
Allow the syrup to cook for about 10 minutes.
Set aside and allow the syrup to cool.
