A simple Lemon Mojito.

A mojito is a Cuban cocktail traditionally made from rum, sugar, mint, lime, and soda water. It is one of my favorite cocktails, so it was only a matter of time before we started experimenting with whiskey instead of rum as the base spirit.

The idea came to us through a comment on our Instagram account. We posted about a delicious old-fashioned we were enjoying by the fire and asked a simple question: What is your go-to whiskey cocktail? The suggestion of a whiskey mojito surfaced and after a couple of trial runs, we perfected this Lemon Whiskey Mojito.

We really liked this cocktail with Warrior Whiskey from Steamboat Distilling Co. You can find our review of Warrior Whiskey here.
