Mix it Up Monday: Ginger Rosemary Mule

The Ginger Rosemary Mule is best served in a copper mug.

Alie and I go through periods when we crave mule cocktails. Whether we visit a local restaurant or whip one up at home, a mule is a quick and easy go-to drink. This week, we whipped up a mule variation we call the Ginger Rosemary Mule.

You might recall last week’s cocktail, the Rosemary Apothecary also used our rosemary-infused simple syrup. Since our homemade infused simple syrups only have a shelf life of a few weeks, we try to make multiple cocktails while the batch is still fresh. However, despite the addition of rosemary syrup in both cocktails, the Ginger Rosemary Mule is distinctly different from our Rosemary Apothecary. You’ll find the simple syrup recipe and the Rosemary Apothecary recipe here.

The Ginger Rosemary Mule contains whiskey, rosemary simple syrup, and ginger beer. It is a simple cocktail that packs a lot of flavor. If you like mule cocktails, you’ll love this mule variation. You could also substitute the whiskey with gin or vodka if you prefer.

Happy Exploring!
